The start of the indoor season means the start of the Virtual Archery League. This is a real competition with archers shooting at their own clubs from across the world and submitting their best scores each month. We have members from USA to New Zealand and from Jersey to Norway. Last year the competition attracted 400 entrants.
The competition is great for archers of any standard as you will be shooting against archers of the same standard as you in your bow style – BareBow, Compound, Longbow or Recurve.
This year Tony Rees will collect your best scores in the Portsmouth round (60 arrows shot at a 60cm target face at 20 yards). All you need to do now is to enter the competition and pay the entry fee, just £3 for the whole competition which lasts from October to March.
Several Bowmen of Gower members won medals last year, so hopefully we can increase this number. Any questions just ask DOC or Tony.
PAY £3 ENTRY FEE and then tell Tony which bow type you will be shooting.
