Today, three fine archers from the Bowmen of Gower dressed in navy with a burning castle on their chests braved the glaring heat in the shadow of Llandaff City Cathedral to take on the might of the Eastern Wales tribes. The battle was fierce and at times brutal, but despite exhaustion, hunger and equipment failures our brave warriors won through, 6 dozen arrows were launched with nothing to help but a barebow.
